How to choose your custom-made wooden table?

Choosing a custom-made wooden table well means thinking carefully about certain essential details. Since the table is made in a workshop, you can achieve a high degree of personalisation. The following list of criteria should help you to use our online configurator.

Table size and shape 

For the tabletop, allow between 50 and 60 cm of width and depth per guest. Also leave a free space of 60 cm around the table counting guests on their chairs. The shape of the table should be suited to the configuration of the available space.

Style and design

The ideal custom-made wooden table reflects the décor of your interior. But it can also be slightly disruptive. To avoid taking risks, choose an all-wood Scandinavian table. To create a slight contrast in a classic décor, opt for a wood and metal table.

Wood species

Oak, beech, and ash are known for their scratch resistance. For a finely grained tabletop, choose beech or ash. For a more rustic look, opt for oak. Looking for something original? Go for olive ash in laminated form and its alternating colours.

Finish and maintenance

You can ask us to apply the finish to your wooden table. We offer varnish or oil. More natural, oil provides more nuance and shades, but needs to be reapplied regularly. Varnish requires less maintenance, but offers fewer shades.
