First fix the wooden newel posts to the bottom and top treads, then assemble the metal rails horizontally. Check that the final height of 90 cm is achieved (vertical measurement from the nosing).

The spacing between the rails must be less than 11 cm to comply with standard NF P01-012. Apply the finish to the wooden newel posts before final fixing. Two people are recommended for installation.
