Natural hard oil for wood protection

This oil, specially designed to protect interior wood not exposed to water, is primarily composed of ingredients of vegetable origin.

Vegetable oils, oleaginous derivatives and natural additives have been carefully selected for their opacifying properties, their fluidity, as well as their hydrophobic and olfactory characteristics.

Among these linseed oil-based products, hard oil is particularly recommended for the protection of interior wood floors.

In addition to linseed oil, a hard oil also contains a high proportion of tung oil. This oil, also known as China wood oil or abrasin oil, is distinguished by its ability to dry naturally without requiring drying agents and to harden as it dries. Resins of vegetable origin may also be included in the composition of a hard oil, providing excellent abrasion resistance — an essential characteristic for wood floors subject to intensive use.

Hard oil is therefore particularly recommended for the protection of interior wood, especially that used for flooring (solid or engineered) or raw plank floors.
