NATURAL COLOURLESS OIL INDOOR WOOD - BLANCOLEO CLASSIC

The BLANCOléo Classic finishing oil is the ideal solution for the protection and maintenance of light-coloured indoor woods. This colourless oil is specially formulated to preserve the natural hue of woods without causing the "wet look" typical of conventional oils. It is particularly suitable for use on various wooden elements such as indoor furniture, shelves, wall panelling, beams, balustrades, as well as turned or carved objects.

Intended use

BLANCOléo Classic is perfect for light-coloured woods. For tannic woods such as oak, chestnut and black locust, it is recommended to use the OLEO'101 primer before applying the oil to ensure optimal protection.

Technical characteristics

This oil provides a matte colourless finish on light-coloured woods, which helps to preserve their natural hue and avoids the wet look. It stands out for its pleasant woody scent that fades quickly after application. Thanks to its composition rich in vegetable oils, BLANCOléo Classic nourishes and protects in depth while offering a water-repellent, stain-resistant finish. It also incorporates an anti-UV pigment principle, ensuring long-lasting protection and improving the dimensional stability of the wood. Furthermore, its maintenance is easy and economical, and unlike certain finishes, it does not flake over time.

Environmental characteristics

Formulated with raw materials of renewable origin, BLANCOléo Classic contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), nor solvents of petrochemical or vegetable origin such as turpentine or citrus terpene. It is also free from lead- or zirconium-based driers and chemical UV absorbers. Respectful of human health and the environment, this oil meets the toy standard EN71-3, guaranteeing its safety.

Composition

BLANCOléo Classic is composed of cold-pressed first-press linseed oil, boiled linseed oils, esters of unsaturated vegetable oils, water, pigment paste and a vegetable emulsifier. This unique formulation ensures lasting and effective protection of the wood.

Application

For optimal application, it is important to shake the container well before use. Apply the oil to a clean, dry and smooth surface (sand beforehand if necessary) using a brush. Allow the product to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes, then wipe off the excess with a clean cloth. Repeat these steps without allowing the oil to dry between coats. A minimum drying time of 24 hours is required before putting the wood back into service. A 1L container covers between 10 and 15m² for the first coat and between 15 and 25m² for subsequent coats.

Usage and coverage

BLANCOléo Classic is intended for indoor use, ideal for walls and furniture made of temperate wood. Its coverage is 10 to 15m²/L for the first coat and 15 to 25m²/L for the second. Touch-dry is achieved within 24 hours, and through-dry within one week.
