Cabinetmaking-grade oak panel – made to measure to the nearest millimetre
WoodUp’s cabinetmaking-grade oak panel is made from solid oak without finger joints (cabinetmaking grade) and is FSC / PEFC certified. It is cut and machined to order to your exact specifications: up to 250 cm long and 120 cm wide, to the nearest millimetre. Unlike the made-to-measure oak panel (ID 480), the cabinetmaking-grade oak panel is constructed from solid oak without finger joints: each board runs the full length of the panel. This construction ensures uninterrupted grain and a premium appearance, particularly suited to cabinetmaking projects. The panel is supplied with the finish chosen in the configurator: unfinished and sanded, oiled or varnished. A protective finish is recommended before use if you choose the unfinished, sanded option.
Configure the dimensions, thickness, shape (rectangular, oval, circle or octagon), edge machining (chamfered, rounded or quarter-round) and rounded corners directly on this page. For options available on request (drilling, laser printing or CNC cutting), contact WoodUp customer service before completing your order.

Advice on use and finishing
If you choose the unfinished, sanded option, apply a protective finish before use. For a surface subject to wear, a polyurethane floor varnish (2 to 3 coats) provides the best resistance. For a natural matt look, a hard oil penetrates the fibres and nourishes the wood; reapply every 1 to 2 years, depending on use. Finish every face before installation, including those that will be inaccessible afterwards.
Before working with the panel, store it flat in the room where it will be used for 48 to 72 hours so it can acclimatise to the ambient humidity.
WoodUp advice
Before ordering: solid oak without finger joints is a quality construction, with each board running the full length of the panel. Maximum length: 250 cm. Oak tannins react with iron: use only stainless-steel or brass-plated screws. Pre-drilling is essential. Finish every face before installation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order this panel with rounded edges or a special shape?
Yes. Several machining options are available in the configurator: chamfered, rounded and quarter-round edges, rounded corners, and special oval, circular or octagonal shapes. For more complex options (drilling, CNC cutting or laser printing), contact WoodUp customer service before completing your order.
Can this panel be used outdoors?
No. This panel is for indoor use only. For outdoor use or damp environments, choose a suitably treated panel or a naturally resistant wood species.
What finish should I apply to this panel?
The panel is supplied sanded and ready to finish. For a surface subject to wear, apply 2 to 3 coats of polyurethane floor varnish. For a natural look, use a hard oil, reapplied every 1 to 2 years. For a custom colour, use wood stain or paint. In all cases, finish every face before installation.
What is the delivery time?
The panel is made to order and dispatched within 5 to 10 working days. You can track its progress through your WoodUp customer account.
What is the difference between the cabinetmaking-grade oak panel and the made-to-measure oak panel (ID 480)?
The cabinetmaking-grade oak panel is made from solid oak without finger joints: each board runs the full length of the panel, giving it uninterrupted grain and a high-quality appearance. The made-to-measure oak panel (ID 480) is made from glued-up boards, which may be finger-jointed along their length. For a piece of fine furniture or a premium tabletop, cabinetmaking grade is recommended.
How do I order drilling or laser printing options?
These options are available on request and do not appear in the online configurator. Contact WoodUp customer service with your plans and specifications before placing your order.
