Detailed description
Olive ash is a noble and decorative wood sourced from the heartwood of old ash trees. This unique material captivates with its contrasting grain, alternating light and brown tones, offering a visual effect close to olive wood. Thanks to its flexibility and high impact resistance, this wood is perfectly suited to applications requiring great elasticity.
Our olive ash panels are made from glued and finger-jointed slats, allowing large pieces to be created while maintaining optimal stability and robustness. The upper face (A) features a characteristic two-tone grain, while the lower face (B) is slightly more uniform in colour.
These raw panels require a suitable finishing coat before use to preserve their beauty and ensure their durability.
Usage tips
- Apply a suitable protective finish (oil, varnish, wax) before use.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water or excessive moisture without protection.
- Use for interior projects such as worktops, furniture or cladding.
