Our OLD OAK 3-ply panels consist of 3 cold-bonded wood layers. The upper and lower layers are Douglas fir 5 mm thick.

The distinctive feature of this panel is the grain direction of the central ply. This is crossed at 90° to the grain direction of the outer plies, giving the product very high strength.

They are ideal for making furniture, such as living room furniture, office fittings, storage units, cladding, exterior casing, window surrounds… Thanks to their strength, lightness and aesthetics.

The panels can be used both indoors, including in damp environments, and outdoors!

They also represent very good quality, and at a very affordable price!

For the treatment and finishing of your panel: with a varnish, oil, wood stain, etc. It is important to allow 10 days drying time!

AB/B quality:

AB: Closed-joint surface, a few lightly marked growth rings, sound knots and small isolated black knots tolerated, isolated areas of reaction wood and small areas of pith possible, slight colour differences accepted, shallow end splits (checks), knots and resin pockets filled in greater proportion permitted, a few traces of sapwood permitted (on pine, larch and Douglas fir), overall a homogeneous appearance.

B: Closed-joint surface, marked and pronounced wood structure, larger knots and resin pockets accepted, filled knots and resin pockets permitted in large quantities, slight reaction wood, small discolourations, pith and sapwood (on larch, pine, Douglas fir and arolla pine) tolerated.
