Ash triply panel 20 mm — made to measure to the nearest mm

The WoodUp ash triply 20 mm panel is manufactured in ash triply (3 cold-bonded plies, cross-grain central ply at 90°), PEFC certified. It is cut and machined to order according to your exact specifications: 10 to 300 cm in length, 10 to 120 cm in width, to the nearest millimetre. The ash triply (3-ply) panel combines the cross-grain structure of triply with the light hue and fine grain characteristic of ash. The cross-grain central ply at 90° provides high mechanical resistance and good dimensional stability, comparable to a technical plywood with a visible wood appearance on both faces. The panel is delivered in the finish selected in the configurator: sanded raw, oiled or varnished. A protective finish is recommended before use if you opt for the sanded raw finish.

Configure the dimensions, thickness, shape (straight, oval, circle, octagon), edge machining (chamfer, rounded, quarter-round) and rounded corners directly on this page. For options on request (drilling, laser engraving, digital cutting), contact the WoodUp customer service team before finalising your order.

Usage and finishing advice

If you have opted for the sanded raw finish, apply a protective finish before use. For a surface subject to wear, a polyurethane varnish (2 to 3 coats) offers the best resistance. For a natural matt look, a hard oil penetrates the fibres and nourishes the wood — to be renewed every 1 to 2 years depending on use. Apply the finish to all faces before installation, including those that will be inaccessible once in place.

Before installation, store the panel flat in the room where it will be used for 48 to 72 hours to allow it to acclimatise to the ambient humidity.

WoodUp tip

What to know before ordering: ash is a hard and flexible wood — pre-drilling is recommended before any screw fixing. Its light hue gradually shifts to a slightly more golden tone with exposure to light. To preserve it, apply a varnish or an oil with UV protection. Indoor use only.

Frequently asked questions

Can this panel be ordered with rounded edges or a special shape?

Yes. Several machining options are available in the configurator: chamfer, rounded and quarter-round for the edges, rounded corners, and special oval, circle or octagon shapes. For complex options (drilling, digital cutting, laser engraving), contact the WoodUp customer service team before finalising your order.

What finish should be applied to this panel?

The panel is delivered in the option chosen: sanded raw, oiled or varnished. For a surface subject to wear, a polyurethane varnish in 2 to 3 coats offers the best resistance. For a natural look, a hard oil to be renewed every 1 to 2 years. Finish all faces before installation.

What is the delivery lead time?

The panel is made to order and dispatched within 10 working days. You can track progress from your WoodUp customer account.

Is the ash triply panel suitable for shelving or furniture?

Yes, the cross-grain structure of the triply offers good rigidity, suitable for shelving, furniture and fitted interiors. The light hue and fine grain of ash make it a popular aesthetic choice for bright and contemporary interiors.

How do I order drilling or laser engraving options?
