Assemble the shelf on a flat surface following the included instructions. Place on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping. Distribute pots evenly across the 4 tiers, placing the heaviest ones on the lower tiers to lower the centre of gravity. Apply a stain or exterior oil to all faces before placing the first plants outdoors. For balconies exposed to wind, secure the shelf to the wall with brackets (not supplied).

Maintenance and protection

Untreated pine gradually turns grey outdoors without protection. Apply an exterior wood stain or oil before installation and renew every 2 years. Clean the tiers with a damp cloth after each repotting. Check the tightening of screws on the intermediate tiers annually.
