Metal or wood safety handrail, glued laminated wood treads 20 to 30 mm thick, wood-metal treads, you access the upper floor via a stable spiral staircase.

The inner end of the treads forms the central stringer of a spiral staircase. A threaded rod fixed into the floor ensures the stability of the structure. Each of our staircases guarantees balance and safety, whatever the diameter of the staircase:

For greater comfort, you can personalise the staircase. We recommend, if the configuration allows, choosing a diameter greater than 120 cm to make it easier to move furniture to the upper floor. Our models accept maximum loads of up to 200 kg/m².

Choose the glued laminated wood spiral staircase solution, with triangular treads and a trapezoidal landing tread that can be cut to size. Only the all-metal staircase features a triangular landing tread that cannot be cut to size.

Assembly precautions

All our spiral staircases are designed for assembly without a tradesperson. A competent DIY enthusiast can take on the challenge. The treads, central stringer, and handrail can be adjusted without modification.

However, before you start, take stock. Check your measurements and dimensions twice. The fixing of the central stringer is the first operation. Make sure there are no conduits (electrical, water) before drilling.

Maintenance and upkeep

Before placing any order, take your measurements. The staircase must be suited to the stairwell opening. This means it must "fit" within the stairwell. Specifically, its diameter must match the stairwell size as closely as possible. However, a round spiral staircase can be installed in a square stairwell. We also offer a special square stairwell model.

2 - Thinking about safety

Our staircases are safe. Designed in strict compliance with staircase standards, they guarantee safe use. If the staircase is used by children, consider the type of balustrade and handrail. Plan for closely spaced balusters. Wooden treads can be coated with a non-slip varnish to enhance safety.

3 - Estimating the frequency of use

There are two main categories of staircase. The first covers main staircases, used every day. The second covers secondary staircases, used occasionally. Is your staircase a main one? Choose a minimum diameter of 140 cm. For access to a mezzanine, a space-saving spiral staircase is ideal.
