What is anodised aluminium?
The anodisation of our aluminium handrails is a surface treatment which, through an electrolytic process, generates a 15-micron oxide layer covering the material.
The anodisation of aluminium makes our handrails resistant to corrosion. They can therefore be installed outdoors, including in coastal areas.
Anodisation also gives our handrails their glossy black finish. The colour is taken directly into the material, unlike powder coating.
Finally, anodisation improves the hardness of the aluminium, making our handrails more resistant to wear.
