✓ Galvanised steel: frame suitable for outdoor use
✓ 140 x 90 cm size: for a standard entrance door
✓ Fixings included: screws and wall plugs supplied

Installation advice

Check the wall’s construction and strength before installation: it must be solid or compatible with the supplied wall plugs. Position the canopy high enough to cover the opening door, then mark and drill the fixing points using the supplied spacing measurements.

Insert the wall plugs and screw the galvanised steel frame into place. Then install the polycarbonate panel and tighten the fixings without overtightening.

Maintenance and protection

Clean the polycarbonate panel with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive detergent; avoid solvents and harsh products. Check the fixings regularly to keep the canopy stable.

Galvanised steel resists corrosion well under normal exposure conditions. How long the protection lasts depends on the thickness of the zinc coating and the environment; it lasts for less time by the sea or in industrial areas.

Frequently asked questions

How do I install the ESCRINET door canopy?

The canopy attaches directly to the wall using the supplied components. Installation requires a solid wall or a support compatible with the supplied wall plugs; the polycarbonate panel is then fitted to the frame.

How long does a galvanised steel canopy last?

Galvanised steel is suitable for outdoor use and resists corrosion well under normal exposure conditions. How long its protection lasts depends on the thickness of the zinc coating and the environment; it lasts for less time by the sea or in industrial areas.

What is the difference between the ESCRINET and CABRUNAS canopies?

Both are made from galvanised steel and polycarbonate and are 17 cm high. The ESCRINET has a 6 mm panel, comes in white and measures 140 x 90 cm. The CABRUNAS has a 3 mm panel, comes in grey, is available in widths of 140 or 180 cm and has an integrated gutter.

Is the ESCRINET canopy suitable for all façades?

It is suitable for most façades, provided the wall is stable, flat and allows secure fixing. Where external wall insulation is present, the fixings must reach the load-bearing wall.
