The solid fir raising base, supplied as a kit, is designed to adjust the starting height of an indoor staircase. Made from solid wood machined in the workshop, it compensates for differences in level between the floor and the first tread while maintaining a consistent appearance. It can be cut on site to fit the layout of each installation.

Care and protection

Solid fir must be protected against changes in moisture levels. Apply a natural oil or acrylic varnish after installation. Avoid prolonged contact with water and keep ambient humidity below 20%. Light sanding and a fresh protective coat can be applied every 3 to 5 years.
