The vertical arrangement of the aluminium rails produces a more closed and safer finish than the horizontal arrangement — it complies with balustrade standards in terms of spacing (≤ 11 cm between rails) and constitutes an effective barrier against children passing through.

This model combines the natural appearance of wood for the structural elements (posts, handrail) with the contemporary and lightweight character of aluminium for the infill. Installation advice

The vertical aluminium rails must be perfectly parallel to each other and vertical — use a spirit level for each rail during positioning. Start by fixing the wooden posts, then insert the aluminium rails into their supports starting from the ends, and finish by fitting the handrail. Apply the wood finish before fitting the rails to avoid any runs onto the aluminium.

Maintenance and protection

Apply varnish or oil-wax to the wood parts before use. Anodised aluminium rails require no treatment. Annual cleaning with soapy water on the entire unit. Check the tightness of joints annually.
