This solid wood turned post measures 120 cm high with a 70x70 mm section. Its lathe-turned profile, characteristic of classic traditional balustrades, gives it a refined, distinctive appearance that straight square posts cannot offer. It is available in fir, pine or beech - three indoor woods with distinct tones: slightly amber golden fir, slightly pinker pine, and pinkish-white beech with a very fine grain. A guardrail is also called a balustrade.

Always drill perpendicular to a solid face at the base or top of the post, and avoid fixing points in the recessed areas to prevent the wood from splitting. Fix the post to the floor with a mounting plate compatible with a 70x70 mm section (not included). Apply the finish before fitting the infill elements to cover every surface of the shaped profile.

Care and protection
