The LUSETTE canopy is a curved door canopy in aluminium profile and transparent 4 mm acrylic panel, available in two sizes: 158 x 90 x 26 cm and 180 x 90 x 26 cm. Its curved arc shape and transparent acrylic panel allow natural light to pass through whilst protecting the entrance from rain.

Choose the size according to the width of your door: the 158 cm version for doors up to 130 cm, the 180 cm version for wider entrances. The fixing wall must be load-bearing (concrete, brick, breeze block). The reinforced brackets allow a more robust fixing than standard models.
Two people recommended for installation. Ensure correct alignment of the gutter for optimal rainwater drainage.
The anodised aluminium structure requires no treatment after installation. An annual clean with clean water and mild soap is sufficient to preserve its appearance. Avoid abrasive or chemical products on the lacquer.
The acrylic panel should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth only — avoid using a pressure washer directly and abrasive sponges that easily scratch the surface. For minor scratches, a plastic polish can reduce their appearance. Acrylic is more sensitive to impacts than polycarbonate — to be taken into account depending on exposure to branches or hail.
The LUSETTE has an acrylic panel and reinforced brackets, whilst the DURBIZE and FONTMARTIN use cellular polycarbonate. Acrylic is optically clearer but more sensitive to impacts than polycarbonate. The LUSETTE is available in 3 precise RAL colours, the contemporary models in white or black. Choose according to the desired finish and exposure to impact risks.
Acrylic resists UV yellowing well and retains its transparency longer than standard polycarbonate. A quality acrylic panel can remain clear for 10 to 20 years depending on exposure. Clean regularly with a soft cloth to avoid limescale and pollution deposits that can dull the appearance over time.
The 158 cm version covers a standard door up to 130 cm with a 14 cm overhang on each side. The 180 cm version is suitable for wider entrances (up to 150 cm) or if you want a greater lateral overhang to shelter visitors. Measure your door and the available space above before ordering.
The reinforced brackets of the LUSETTE offer superior mechanical strength compared to models with standard brackets. Wind resistance also depends on the quality of the wall fixings — use wall plugs appropriate for your wall type and sized according to the static and dynamic loads (wind) to be supported.
Yes, the fixing wall must be load-bearing and in good condition. Despite the reinforced brackets, the canopy must be fixed into a solid wall (concrete, solid brick, breeze block) with appropriate wall plugs. On walls of uncertain material, call in a professional to correctly size the fixings.
