Adjustable-Angle Connector for Ø16mm Aluminium Rails, Ellipsis Range

This adjustable-angle rail connector joins two Ø16mm round rails from the Ellipsis range at a variable angle where the balustrade changes direction. It is used at each corner of the balustrade together with the Ellipsis adjustable-angle handrail connector. Each corner requires 5 rail connectors (one per rail) and 1 handrail connector. Available in gloss black and polished stainless steel.

Installation advice

Order 5 connectors per corner – one for each rail. Set the angle of each connector before fitting it to the rails. Make sure all connectors are set to the same angle before tightening to keep the rails aligned. Use the adjustable-angle handrail connector as well to join the handrail at the same angle.

Care and protection

The anodised aluminium of the adjustable-angle connectors needs no surface treatment. Anodising builds protection directly into the metal: no paint, no varnish and no risk of flaking.

Cleaning with water and a soft cloth maintains the finish over time. The articulated parts do not need lubrication under normal indoor conditions. Outdoors, visually check that the locking screws are tight once a year to maintain the set angle.

Avoid abrasive products and strong solvents on anodised surfaces. In coastal areas exposed to salt spray, rinsing with fresh water after periods of heavy exposure extends the life of the finish.
