Ellipsis Range Articulated Handrail Connector - Variable Angle Aluminium Junction

This articulated joint connects two sections of Ellipsis handrail at a variable angle, for configurations where the balustrade changes direction — landing angle, mezzanine return, L-shaped staircase. It is designed specifically for the rounded-profile handrail of the WoodUp Ellipsis range (Ø50mm cross-section) and is not compatible with the Quadrum range. Available in gloss black and gloss stainless steel finishes, it ensures the visual continuity of the installation.

Sold individually, it is used at each handrail direction change. For right angles (90°) or non-standard variable angles, this articulated joint is the simplest solution — it avoids having to mitre-cut the ends and weld or glue the junctions.

Installation tips

Position the articulated joint at the desired angle between the two handrail sections. Set the angle before tightening the locking mechanism — once tightened, the joint holds the angle permanently. Then insert the ends of the handrail sections into the joint's sockets and fix according to the manufacturer's instructions. Maintenance and protection
