Installation tips

Planning: This starter kit covers 120 cm. For 220 cm, add 1 Ellipsis aluminium extension kit. For 320 cm, add 2 extension kits. The span can be adjusted by cutting to length on site. Allow for rail connectors Ellipsis Ø16 mm rail connector and a handrail connector Ellipsis handrail connector to join each module — these accessories are not included in the kit.

Floor fixing: The posts are fixed to the floor using their base shoes. Choose Ø6 mm stainless steel screws for wooden floors or Ø8 mm expansion anchors for concrete. Check each post is vertical with a spirit level before tightening. Tighten gradually to avoid deforming the aluminium shoe.

Corners and changes of direction: For corners, use the articulated handrail connector Ellipsis articulated handrail connector and articulated rail connectors Ellipsis Ø16 mm articulated rail connector. These accessories allow variable angles — they are not included in the starter kit.

Care and protection
