This plywood larder comes in 3 stackable sizes, all sharing the same base L40 x D30 cm, with a variable height depending on the model: small (H21 cm, 1 level), medium (H35 cm, 2 levels with dividing shelf) and large (H50 cm, 3 levels with two shelves). Its grey aluminium grille protects food from insects whilst ensuring continuous air circulation. The integrated wooden handle makes it easy to move. Supplied as a kit, it assembles quickly.

Lighter than the solid beech larder, it is particularly well suited to small spaces: a kitchen worktop, a pantry shelf, a wall-mounted larder. The 3 sizes are modular and stack together — you can start with the small model and add the medium or large according to your needs.

Which size to choose?

The small H21cm model is suitable for 2 to 3 cheeses or a few pieces of fruit placed on a single shelf — the perfect format for the table or worktop. The medium H35cm with 2 levels is the most versatile size: the bottom level for cheeses, the top level for fruit or small portions of charcuterie. The large H50cm with 3 levels is designed for cheese lovers who keep several varieties, or for users who wish to store an assortment of local produce.

Usage tips

Place in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight. For cheese, do not store strongly aromatic washed-rind cheeses alongside mild cheeses — aromas spread easily in a small enclosed volume. Air the shelves daily by briefly lifting the lid for a few minutes.

Maintenance

Wipe the plywood shelves with a lightly vinegared damp cloth — vinegar neutralises cheese odours effectively. The aluminium grille can be cleaned with soapy water. Allow to dry thoroughly before putting back into use to prevent mould on the plywood.

For soft-rind cheeses, place a small wooden board or a sheet of cheese paper on the shelf before placing the cheese on it — this prevents the rind from sticking and makes cleaning easier. The WoodUp 35x23cm beech cheese board is precisely sized to fit the medium and large models.
