Installation advice

Measure the opening height and clear width between uprights. Select the corresponding size allowing 2 to 3 mm of clearance on each side for the panel's movement. As this panel cannot be cut down, check twice before ordering. Apply your chosen finish before fitting, covering all faces and edges – the areas between the slats are difficult to access once the panel is installed. For sliding installation, use the Woodup aluminium sliding system Aluminium sliding system set for a 21 mm panel. For hinged installation, choose 21 mm hinges suited to the weight of the panel.

Care and protection

In raw untreated pine, the wood may yellow slightly in light without affecting its mechanical properties. To limit colour change, apply a clear wood stain or matt varnish. Dust the louvred slats two to three times a year with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. Without treatment, the wood remains stable indoors in dry conditions. Each panel also has its own colour and grain upon delivery, a natural characteristic of solid pine that varies from one piece to another. Avoid rooms with high humidity and no ventilation (bathroom without extraction).

Solid pine is a natural material whose colour and grain vary according to the cut and growth of each board. These variations are inherent to solid wood and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. An opaque paint gives a perfectly uniform result, unlike a wood stain or transparent varnish.
