The folding louvred wardrobe door in natural solid pine 21 mm is available in 2 widths: 61 cm or 71 cm (2 panels of 30.5 cm or 35.5 cm), for a fixed height of 205 cm. The open slats ensure continuous natural ventilation of the wardrobe without a technical grille.
The hardware is complete upon delivery: pre-fitted hinges on the panels, top rail, top and bottom pivots, knobs. Smooth raw wood finish, ready to paint or varnish. As solid pine is a natural material, each panel has its own grain and a shade that may vary slightly from one piece to another: this variation is normal and does not constitute a defect. Non-trimmable model: allow 209.5 cm in height and the chosen width + 4 mm.

Installation advice
Check that your opening measures 209.5 cm in height to accommodate the door and the top rail. Allow 4 mm clearance in width on each side for correct panel alignment. First fix the top rail to the ceiling of the frame, then position the bottom pivots. Then hang the panels by clipping onto the pivots and check the alignment. Maintenance and protection
In a natural raw finish, the pine can be left as is or treated with a varnish, a wood stain or paint. A light sanding with 120-grit paper before application improves finish adhesion. For routine maintenance, a dry cloth is sufficient. Dust the louvred slats two to three times a year with a soft brush or a microfibre cloth to prevent build-up between the slats. As solid pine is a living wood, its shade and grain vary naturally from one panel to another, including between the two panels of the same door. An opaque coat of paint fully evens out the appearance, whereas a wood stain or varnish allows this variation to show through, which is part of the character of solid wood. As these doors are intended for interior use, no water-repellent treatment is required.

What opening height is required for a 205 cm door?
Allow 209.5 cm in height: 205 cm for the door plus the space required for the top rail. Without this clearance, the rail cannot be fitted correctly.
Is the hardware included in the delivery?

Why is the wood shade not identical on all door panels?
Solid pine is a natural material, and each board has its own shade and grain depending on the cut and growth of the tree. These shade differences between panels are inherent to solid wood and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. For a perfectly uniform shade, apply an opaque paint rather than a wood stain or transparent varnish, which preserve this natural variation.
Can this door be cut down to fit a smaller opening?

What is the difference between the folding louvred door and the folding half-louvred door?
The louvred door Folding louvred door is fully open-slatted across the entire height of the panel. The choice depends on the level of ventilation desired and the preferred visual appearance.
