The folding louvred cupboard door in 21 mm natural solid pine is available in 2 widths: 61 cm or 71 cm (2 door leaves measuring 30.5 cm or 35.5 cm each), with a fixed height of 205 cm. The open louvres provide continuous natural ventilation for the cupboard without a separate vent.

All fittings are included: pre-fitted hinges on the door leaves, a top track, top and bottom pivots and knobs. Smooth unfinished wood, ready to paint or varnish. As solid pine is a natural material, each door leaf has its own grain and its colour may vary slightly from one piece to another: this is normal and not a defect. This model cannot be trimmed: allow 209.5 cm in height and the chosen width plus 4 mm.

Installation advice

Check that your opening is 209.5 cm high to accommodate the door and top track. Allow an opening width equal to the door width plus 4 mm in total to adjust the door leaves. First fix the top track to the top of the frame, then position the bottom pivots. Hang the door leaves by clipping them onto the pivots and check their alignment. Care and protection

With its natural unfinished surface, the pine can be left as it is or treated with varnish, wood stain or paint. Light sanding with 120-grit sandpaper before application helps the finish adhere. For routine care, a dry cloth is enough. Dust the louvres two to three times a year with a soft brush or microfibre cloth to prevent build-up between the slats. As solid pine is a natural material, its colour and grain vary between door leaves, including the two leaves of the same door. A coat of opaque paint gives a completely uniform appearance, while a wood stain or varnish allows this natural variation, which is part of the character of solid wood, to show through. These doors are intended for indoor use, so no water-repellent treatment is needed.
