Measure your opening precisely before cutting. Use a circular saw with a fine-tooth blade for a clean cut through solid pine. Sand the cut edges with 120-grit sandpaper before applying a protective finish to the cut edges. Fix the panel using 3 hinges minimum distributed across the height: one at the top, one at the bottom, one in the centre. This panel is not compatible with a sliding rail – for this type of installation, refer to the louvred or cross-panel doors in the range.

Maintenance and protection

Apply a protective finish (varnish, stain, or microporous paint) to the entire panel, including the edges, before installation. This step is essential to limit wood movement caused by humidity variations. For routine maintenance on treated wood, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Can two identical panels be ordered for a double opening?

Yes. This panel is sold individually. For a double-door opening, order two panels of the same size. The total width will then be twice the width of a single panel, plus the necessary clearance gaps.

What is the difference between this adjustable panel and non-adjustable folding doors?

Folding doors (80, 81, 82) are supplied with rail and complete hardware, not height-adjustable. This adjustable panel is sold without hinges but can be adapted to any opening by height trimming – preferable when the available height is less than the standard 205 cm of folding doors.
