The folding louvred cupboard door with a satin white lacquered finish combines a solid pine frame with 21 mm satin white lacquered MDF slats. Available in 61 cm or 71 cm widths (2 door leaves), with a height of 205 cm – ready to install without treatment or painting.

Installation advice

Allow 209.5 cm in height to accommodate the door and its track. Allow an opening width equal to the door width plus 4 mm in total. Fix the top track using screws suitable for the surface (wood, plasterboard or concrete, as appropriate). Then insert the top and bottom pivots and hang the pre-assembled door leaves. Check that they are aligned and fold smoothly. As the white lacquered finish is factory-applied, take care not to scratch the surfaces during handling – corner protectors are recommended during transport and installation.

Care and protection

Clean the white lacquered surface with a slightly damp cloth (using clean water). Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic household cleaners, which can dull the satin lacquer. For a small surface scratch on the lacquered MDF, touching it up with a commercially available satin white lacquer paint can restore its appearance. Dust the louvres two to three times a year with a soft brush to prevent build-up between the slats.

Is the white finish lacquer or applied paint?

The slats are made from factory-finished satin white lacquered MDF. The finish is even and withstands everyday indoor use. It is an industrial coating, not paint applied by hand.

Is this door available in a trimmable version?

Is this door suitable for a kitchen or utility room?

Yes, for a ventilated utility room. In a kitchen where it is frequently exposed to greasy splashes, clean the surface regularly with mild soapy water. Avoid prolonged exposure to steam or direct moisture.

Can this door be repainted in another colour?

Yes, lacquered MDF can be repainted after light sanding with 220-grit sandpaper to help the new paint adhere. Use a lacquer paint suitable for wood and MDF.
