Installation advice

Measure the clear opening between the uprights in height and width. Allow a 2 to 3 mm gap on each side. As this panel cannot be trimmed, the dimension must match your opening exactly without any possibility of cutting. Apply the finish before installation on all faces and edges. For a sliding installation, check that the chosen rail system is compatible with a panel thickness of 28 mm - the Woodup aluminium kit Aluminium sliding system accepts thicknesses ≥ 16 mm. For a hinged installation, choose hinges suitable for 28 mm and the weight of the panel.

Maintenance and protection

Raw pine at 28 mm is more resistant to warping than the 21 mm version thanks to its greater mass. Without treatment, it remains stable in dry interior conditions. To limit colour change over time, apply a clear wood stain or matt varnish. Dust the louvred slats two to three times a year with a soft brush. On a treated panel, clean with mild soapy water (neutral pH).
