Installation tips

Assemble on a flat, level surface. For this large size, provide a central support beneath the long side rail to prevent it bowing under the weight of the soil. On soft ground, lightly anchor the corners with stakes to prevent slipping. Fill in 10 cm layers, firming down between layers – when filled to 20 cm, it holds approximately 350 to 400 kg of growing medium.

Care and protection

Douglas fir greys in 6 to 12 months without losing strength. Apply an exterior oil or wood stain once a year to preserve its colour. The screw-free assembly system makes it easy to dismantle for winter storage at the end of the season. Check that the unit is level each spring before filling it.
