Installation tips

Assemble on a flat, level surface. For this large format, provide a central support under the long crossbar to prevent deflection under the weight of the soil. On loose ground, lightly anchor the corners with stakes to prevent any movement. Fill in 10 cm layers, tamping between each layer — a full fill to 20 cm represents approximately 350 to 400 kg of substrate.

Maintenance and protection

Douglas fir turns grey in 6 to 12 months without any loss of resistance. Apply an outdoor oil or wood stain once a year to maintain the colour. The screwless assembly system makes it easy to dismantle at the end of the season for winter storage. Check the module is level each spring before filling.
