Installation tips

Clip the extension boards onto the base module before filling it definitively. Over 200 cm in length, add a central support under the long cross-rail of the extension to prevent deflection under load. Fill in progressive layers, compacting lightly at each level.

Maintenance and protection

Same maintenance as the base module: annual outdoor oil in spring, easy disassembly for winter storage. The greying of Douglas fir is normal and does not affect the wood's resistance.

Good to know before buying: this extension is exclusively compatible with the WoodUp 200x100 cm base module (ID 1107). Each kit adds 10 cm of height, with a maximum of 2 stackable extensions for a total height of 40 cm.

What depth is needed to grow potatoes?

Potatoes require 30 to 40 cm of earthing-up depth. With the base (20 cm) and two extensions (20 cm), you reach the recommended 40 cm for a good harvest.
