Installation tips

Slot the extension boards onto the base unit before filling it completely. At 200 cm long, add a central support beneath the extension’s long side rail to prevent it bowing under the load. Fill in stages, lightly firming down each layer.

Care and protection

Care for it in the same way as the base unit: apply exterior oil each spring and take it apart easily for winter storage. It is normal for Douglas fir to grey, and this does not affect the wood’s strength.

Before you buy: this extension is compatible only with the WoodUp 200x100 cm base unit (ID 1107). Each kit adds 10 cm of height. You can stack a maximum of two extensions for a total height of 40 cm.
