This tiered raised bed is made from natural, unfinished pine and has 4 compartments arranged at staggered heights for growing in a small footprint. Its assembled dimensions are 120x30xH 54 cm. The kit comes with screws. Two finishes are available: natural and brown. The tiered structure exposes each level evenly to light, reducing shaded areas between compartments.

This raised bed is suitable for herbs, flowers, lettuces and compact vegetables. It works well on balconies, terraces and in small gardens. In exposed outdoor locations, a protective finish (exterior wood stain or paint) is recommended to extend the life of the natural pine.

Installation advice

Assemble the main frame on a flat surface before attaching the dividers between levels. Tighten the screws gradually without forcing them to avoid splitting the pine. Once assembled, apply your chosen finish to all faces and edges before filling to protect areas that will be inaccessible once the compost is in place. Place it on a stable surface – on a balcony, check the permitted load before filling.

Care and protection

Natural, unfinished pine needs protection before prolonged outdoor exposure. Apply an exterior wood stain or paint every 2 to 3 years. Clean out the compartments at the end of the season to remove soil residue that could trap moisture against the wood. In winter, empty the compartments and cover them with a breathable sheet if conditions are harsh.

Can the finish be changed after delivery?
