The folding louvred wardrobe door in satin white lacquer combines a solid pine frame and satin white lacquered MDF slats 21 mm. Available in 61 cm or 71 cm (2 panels), height 205 cm – finish ready to fit with no treatment or painting required.

Supplied with pre-fitted hinges, top rail, pivots, knobs. Non-trimmable model: a 209.5 cm height opening is required, with 4 mm width clearance. For an adjustable version, see the trimmable white lacquered version.

Installation advice

Allow 209.5 cm in height to accommodate the door and its rail. Leave 4 mm clearance in width on each side of the panels. Fix the top rail with screws appropriate for the support (wood, plasterboard, or concrete as applicable). Then insert the top and bottom pivots and hang the pre-fitted panels. Check the alignment and smoothness of folding. As the white lacquered finish is factory-applied, take care not to scratch the surfaces during handling – corner protectors are recommended during transport and installation.

Care and protection

Clean the white lacquered surface with a slightly damp cloth (clean water). Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic household products that dull the satin lacquer. In the event of a small surface scratch on the lacquered MDF, touching up with a commercially available satin white lacquer paint will restore the appearance. Dust the louvred slats two to three times a year with a soft brush to prevent build-up between the slats.

Is the white finish a lacquer or an applied paint?

The slats are made from satin white lacquered MDF, factory-treated. The finish is uniform and resistant to everyday indoor use. This is not a manually applied paint, but an industrial coating.

Does this door exist in a trimmable version?

Is the door suitable for a kitchen or utility room?

Yes for a ventilated utility room. For a kitchen exposed to frequent greasy splashes, clean the surface regularly with mild soapy water. Avoid prolonged exposure to steam or direct moisture.

Can this door be repainted in another colour?

Yes, the lacquered MDF accepts a new coat of paint after light sanding with 220-grit paper to improve adhesion. Use a lacquer paint suitable for wood and MDF.
