This solid panel folding wardrobe door is made from raw solid pine, 21 mm thick. Unlike louvred models, its opaque panel provides complete visual privacy for the wardrobe. It is available in 61 cm or 71 cm width, 205 cm height. The folding mechanism allows opening without encroaching on the room.

The door is delivered with pre-fitted hinges, top rail, top and bottom pivots and knobs. The finish is in raw pine, ready to be personalised: paint, varnish or stain. This model is non-trimmable. The required opening is 209.5 cm in height (door + rail) with 4 mm clearance in width.

Installation advice

Allow an opening height of 209.5 cm (door 205 cm + rail space). Allow 4 mm clearance in width for leaf adjustment. Fix the top rail first, then the top and bottom pivots. Then fit the pre-assembled leaves by hooking them onto the pivots. Check the alignment and smoothness of the folding. On raw pine, apply a finish before installation if you wish to paint: it is simpler to treat the leaves flat before hanging them. An installation video is available on the Woodup YouTube channel.

Maintenance and protection

To preserve the raw pine, apply a matt or satin varnish, or a stain depending on the desired effect. Without treatment, the wood remains functional but may yellow slightly in the light. For routine maintenance on painted or varnished wood, a slightly damp cloth (clean water) is sufficient. Avoid abrasive products. The pivots can be lightly lubricated with wax once a year to maintain smooth opening.
