The panels are in raw solid pine, thickness 21 mm, with a saloon-style height: 104 cm at the centre, 99 cm on the sides. Two widths are available: 68 cm (2 × 34 cm) or 78 cm (2 × 39 cm).

The recommended wall opening is 73 cm for 68 cm panels and 83 cm for 78 cm panels. The finish is in natural raw pine, customisable. This kit is ready to fit: pivots, screws and door panels are provided. For interior use only.

Installation advice

Check the wall opening before fitting: minimum 73 cm for 68 cm doors, 83 cm for 78 cm doors. Install the bottom pivot by pre-drilling the floor, then the top pivot at the lintel in perfect vertical alignment. Slot the doors onto the pivots and check movement in both directions. Apply a finish (varnish or wood stain) to the raw pine before final fitting to protect the wood. Consult the assembly document included in the kit for precise drilling templates.

Maintenance and protection

In raw finish, the pine can be left natural or treated with a clear wood stain, oil or paint. Without treatment, the wood will evolve slightly in the light. Dust the louvred slats two to three times a year with a soft brush. Lubricate the pivots annually with a few drops of light oil to maintain smooth movement.

Is a special tool required for installation?

No. A drill, a spirit level, a screwdriver and the screws provided in the kit are sufficient. The drilling template is included to accurately position the bottom pivot in the floor.

Can these door panels be painted after installation?

Yes. It is preferable to apply the finish before fitting, with the doors laid flat. This makes it easier to access the louvred slats. A light sanding with 120-grit paper before painting improves adhesion.

Is this kit suitable for a separation between kitchen and living room?

Yes, this is a typical use. The louvred slats create a partial visual separation while still allowing air and light through. In a kitchen, clean the slats regularly to prevent grease build-up.
