Our tips for installation and finishing:

1. Taking measurements: Measure the required length following the slope of your staircase. The standard height is between 80 and 100 cm from the nosing of the step. [4]
2. Fitting the brackets: Mark the position of the wall brackets (sold separately). Allow for one bracket per metre approximately for maximum strength. [1]
3. Drilling and fitting: Drill the wall, insert wall plugs suited to your wall type, then screw the brackets in firmly. [8]
4. Wood treatment: Before final installation, apply the finish of your choice (varnish, protective oil, wax) to protect the wood and make maintenance easier. [2, 7]
