Installation tips

Measure the opening precisely before selecting the size. As this door leaf is non-trimmable, any measurement error will require reordering. Allow a 2 to 3 mm gap on each side to allow movement without friction. For sliding installation, pair this door leaf with the Woodup aluminium sliding system Aluminium sliding system, which accepts 21 mm thicknesses. For hinged installation, choose hinges suitable for 21 mm thickness. In both cases, hardware must be ordered separately. Apply your chosen finish before installation, on all faces and edges, particularly in the lattice areas that are difficult to access once fitted.

Care and protection

In its raw finish, the wood can be painted, waxed or varnished. For everyday maintenance, wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The lattice areas accumulate dust: use a soft brush or compressed air two to three times a year to clean between the cross members. Without treatment, natural wood will gradually change in tone with exposure to light.
